CatDaddy is a fully licensed fishing outfitter based in Selkirk, Manitoba Canada. We are located about 20 minutes northeast of Winnipeg, and are easily accessible to the world. Our specialty is catching world class trophy channel catfish on the historic Red River. The Red River is arguably the best channel catfish fishing on the planet! Our goal is to provide you with a trip to remember, full of big cats, good fun, and plenty of excitement.

We set our standards high and offer what we feel is a service unmatched by our competitors. We own and operate our own equipment and do not sub-contract out our guided charters. The guarantee is going to take a little bit of honesty on your part. If you are talking excessively loud, doing back flips on the boat or can’t set a hook to save your life then don’t expect to catch fish no matter how good they are biting! Welcome. My name is Paul Munroe, and I am a licensed professional freshwater fishing guide who has a passion for catching catfish on the Red River.

I grew up in Stonewall area 20 minutes from the Red River, and spent many spring and summer days on the water fishing various lakes throughout Manitoba and Ontario. I have spent just about 20 years in the Canadian Armed Forces in the Infantry. I have been around the world on different deployments. I bought my first fishing boat at age 18 and spent many days fishing. I enjoy fishing for walleye, bass, all trout, and of course, CATFISH. I also enjoy hunting deer, elk, ducks and geese in the fall and winter.

Prices are in Canadian Dollars! We offer a great experience with great rates.

Our pricing structure includes all tackle, bait, gas, and guiding services (but not fishing licenses). Family and Corporate packages available.

This year was no exception from the bed and breakfast stay to the meet on the docks, it was a great start to the day not to disappoint. I don’t think we fished for 10 mins when the first fish was on.
